USB flash drives
These devices are extremely popular and with good reason. Whether you use yours
for backing up, sharing files or carrying company presentations with you, USB
flash drives are very convenient but, they do have some potential problems.
We get a significant number of calls from users with corrupt data after what
appears to be normal use. To limit the chances of losing your data you should always
power down removable USB devices before unplugging them from a PC that is
still switched on. Simply left click the Safely Remove Hardware Icon in your
System Tray and select your USB flash drive to power it down before removing
it. This will ensure all data is completely written before you remove it
